The Accreditation Council

The Accreditation Council was established as a statutory body in 1972 under the then Testing Laboratory Registration Act 1972, and continues to fulfil its statutory functions today under the Standards and Accreditation Act 2015. It operates as a user funded autonomous Crown Entity under the Crown Entities Act 2004.

The Accreditation Council -  Nicole Anderson (Chair), Catherine Abel-Pattinson, Jane von Dadelszen, Simonne Eldridge, Sir Neville Jordan, Nicolaas van Loon, Edie Moke.

The Accreditation Council trades as IANZ for its accreditation activities. It also has a subsidiary certification body, Telarc Limited. Both IANZ and Telarc Limited provide training services in accreditation and certification respectively.
